Homes for Heroes Supports The Fraternal Order of Police National Convention

Homes for Heroes will be in Pittsburgh to show their appreciation and support of the Fraternal Order of Police's 100th Anniversary

Minneapolis, MN, August 06, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Homes for Heroes is honored to be participating in the Fraternal Order of Police® National Conference taking place August 9th-13th in Pittsburgh, PA. The world’s largest organization of sworn law enforcement officers will be celebrating it’s 100th anniversary.

“Our nation’s law enforcement officers serve and protect our communities each and every day, a lot of the time without even a smile or a thank you. We’re determined to change that, to make sure that they know they’re valued and appreciated by giving back to them in a very real, very meaningful way.” Says Abby Waltz, National Director of Homes for Heroes.

Inspired by the tragic events of 9/11, Homes for Heroes gives back and says Thank You to police officers, firefighters, military, teachers and healthcare workers by providing substantial savings and discounts when they are buying, selling or refinancing a home.

In addition to providing savings to help offset real estate closings costs, Homes for Heroes Affiliates also donate a portion of every home purchased or sold through the program to the Homes for Heroes Foundation. The Homes for Heroes Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charity established to help heroes in dire need. So when a hero uses the Homes for Heroes program, they are helping fellow heroes that are in need.
