Moulison North Commits to New England

Mine based Moulison North Corporation, a leading provider of heavy electrical services has expanded its operations with a new office opening in New Hampshire.

Biddeford, ME, December 06, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Moulison North Corporation today announced the opening of an office in Pembroke, New Hampshire, as part of its targeted growth strategy.

According to company founder and CEO Ken Moulison, the decision to open the office was driven by a combination of an increasing workload in New Hampshire and a desire to commit to remaining New England-based.

Founded in 1994, Mouilson North is a leading provider of heavy electrical services in New England and has also completed several projects along the eastern seaboard. The company manages the design, installation, repair and maintenance of airport lighting, navigational systems, as well as highway lighting and utility construction. In addition the company also provides specialty services including hydro-excavation, mobile concrete mixing and concrete cutting and coring.

“Although contracted projects now also take us out of the region – all the way down the Eastern Seaboard – we see ourselves as a New England company. We have grown here and the majority of our work is New England based. Because of that, we feel we need to commit to being based here – to support the communities that have supported us,” said Moulison.

“The rapid growth of our industry has meant there is a shortage of qualified people which on one hand can be seen as negative but it also gives us the opportunity to employ local people who either have the qualifications we are seeking, or who have the desire to be trained and to grow along with our company,” he said.

The company has a full time staff of 75, a dozen of whom are working out of the Pembroke, NH, office.
