Mississippi School for the Deaf Launches New Website

The recent launch of MSD’s new website, www.msd.k12.ms.us, provides yet another tool in aiding students with confidence, leadership, and productivity.

Jackson, MS, August 08, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Empowering students who are deaf or hard of hearing with an education that is designed to promote and develop each child’s educational needs is the goal of the Mississippi School for the Deaf. With that in mind, the recent launch of MSD’s new website, www.msd.k12.ms.us, provides yet another tool in aiding students with confidence, leadership, and productivity.

“We needed a way for parents, students, and staff to stay in touch with each other that also provided information for potential students and their parents,” stated Dr. Sandra Edwards, Superintendent of Mississippi School for the Deaf, “and our new website design seemed the perfect solution.”

“Our goal was to create a design that met the MSD’s objectives for information and usefulness to everyone,” said David Crawford, CEO of web development firm U.S.NEXT, usnx.com, “as well as a website that adapts to any screen size, including mobile devices, making information readily available and easily accessible so that their students can receive the very best education possible.”

The Mississippi School for the Deaf campus offers a friendly and caring environment that helps students reach their full potential and provides children with the communication skills and confidence they need to live happy, productive lives. The technology included in the new website is simply another example of MSD’s dedication to preparing their students for success.
