This project has been in talks for well over 5 years and today is a monumental day toward Transit Oriented Developments (TOD) across Long Island and the entire United States. Political leaders have called this "a nationally significant project that everyone will be watching." This blighted community is about to transom into a 21 century community that is also located at Long Island's Gateway to Eastern Long Island (ELI). The Town Of Islip is considering a people mover from the Ronkonkoma Hub to Long Island MacArthur Airport.
