China Sourcing Summit 2008 Announced to Take Place, 12-13 March 2008
By joining forces, China Supply Chain Council, German Industry and Commerce, and Supply Management Institute aim at making China Sourcing Summit 2008 an unparalleled event that is bigger and better than previous editions. As last time, the conference will specifically target the hottest China-related issues that concern Global Purchasing and Supply Managers.
China Supply Chain Council, German Industry and Commerce and Supply Management Institute, three leading institutions in SCM in China, announced that a continuation from this year’s conference will take place in Shanghai, 12-13 March 2008. The objective of the conference is to provide local content that is relevant for global firms. Delegates will have the opportunity to get insight into a variety of topics related to sourcing in China, such as integration of procurement and logistics processes, innovation sourcing and IP risks, HR strategies, industry-specific case studies, cross-cultural management, among others.
Bolder is better? Some say so.
Needless to say, China Sourcing Summit 2008 will be a unique opportunity to join a highly targeted group of supply chain, procurement and logistics executives from leading multinationals from all over the world. The strong market positions of the organizing hosts will attract delegates and generate market awareness in a way that few other conferences can match. Nowhere else in China a greater concentration of senior-level English-speaking PSM/SCM executives who are ready to discuss and do business can be found.
Referring back to previous events organized, it is clear that China Sourcing Summit 2008 will not only be an attractive meeting place for professionals to share knowledge and experience, but also for sponsors and exhibitors to create market awareness and increase their visibility. Last year, the event attracted more than 250 delegates that listened and participated in two presentation streams given by a total number of thirty presenters over a two-day period. Add China Supply Chain Council’s 300+ delegate event on top and one can get a feeling for the size and scope of next year’s event.
