Portland, OR, August 15, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Boly:Welch creates sustainable succession plan.

Local recruiting and consulting firm Boly:Welch has announced Andrew Welch as company President. The culmination of an extensive succession planning process, the decision aligns with the agency’s vision to maintain local ownership, a unique culture, and reputation for excellence. The ownership change was a best-fit solution for this premier firm known for aligning the area’s leading employers with top talent. In a climate of mergers and acquisitions, maintaining a local, sustainable, and community-minded philosophy was a key priority for the founders in creating the future leadership structure.

Co-founder Diane Boly will continue in her active management role as Board Director and, along with CEO and Board Director Pat Welch, will help guide the organization’s future growth and stewardship of the 30-year agency. “I’m excited to see Andrew carry this torch and know that he will make all of us proud of this place that I love so much,” says Boly of the transition.

Juanita Leard was named Chief Financial Officer and, along with Operations Director Karen Fogg, will round out the existing board membership.

Andrew Welch began his career with the firm in the 90’s, but left to pursue education and experience internationally. Through both ventures and adventures, Andrew learned to incorporate a people-first, solutions-based approach to business, leading to successes at a variety of organizations. Training with a world-class search industry leader rekindled his interest in returning to Boly:Welch and his home in Portland. In 2011 he rejoined the firm as an individual contributor in the Executive Search division and in 2013 was named as a key member of the company’s Board of Directors. “This is both an enormous honor and a massive responsibility,” says Welch. “Boly:Welch has become an institution, touching thousands of lives, helping to shape hundreds of companies’ cultures, and supporting myriad non-profit and local organizations. By reinvesting in our culture, our commitments to service and sustainability, and the passion for adding extreme value, I hope to send a message to the community that we are in it for the long haul, and that the best is yet to come.”

From their home in the venerable Public Service Building, the company’s multi-generational staff of 40 recruiters, administrative, and operations staff guide client efforts to hire talent, retain employees, and invest in their success. From their specialties in Executive Search, Recruiting, Temporary Staffing, and HR Services, Boly:Welch employees are connected to their clients through a shared commitment to excellence. “We have an amazing staff with the skills, attitude and vision to take us to the next level. It’s important that our employees know that there is a solid future here where they can contribute, grow and be rewarded,” adds co-founder Pat Welch.
