Dallas-Fort Worth-Area Charity Organization to Feed and Clothe Homeless and Less Fortunate at 12th Annual Harvest Fest

The Metropolitan Dream Center, Inc. will host the 12th Annual Harvest Fest on Saturday, November 14th, 2015 from 8:00am to 2:00pm at Cedar Crest CME Church, 1616 East Illinois Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75216, which is pastored by Rev. Van C. Williams. The Harvest Fest is the Metropolitan Dream Center’s premier annual event that impacts hundreds who are homeless and impoverished in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The Harvest Fest provides food, clothing, medical screenings, and much more.

Dallas, TX, August 20, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The Metropolitan Dream Center, Inc. will host the 12th Annual Harvest Fest on Saturday, November 14th, 2015 from 8:00am to 2:00pm at Cedar Crest CME Church, 1616 East Illinois Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75216, which is pastored by Rev. Van C. Williams. The Harvest Fest is the Metropolitan Dream Center’s premier annual event that impacts hundreds who are homeless and impoverished in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. The Harvest Fest provides food, clothing, medical screenings, blankets, and much more for hundreds of indigent individuals and families.

Last year Metropolitan Dream Center was blessed to impact over 1,100 lives with the support of nearly 500 volunteers. The Organization expects to impact nearly 2,000 lives during this year’s event.

In addition to event’s providing much needed social services, there will be a play area with fun activities for children, as well as barbers that will provide complimentary haircuts to the attendants.

Margaret James, Executive Director of the Metropolitan Dream Center, says, “We welcome the disadvantaged and impoverished in our local community to our 12th Annual Harvest Fest.” The Harvest Fest is a collaborative effort of DFW churches, businesses, and community groups who support the mission of Metropolitan Dream Center – to feed, clothe, serve, and minister the indigent and educate them on social services available for their betterment.
