Orlando, FL, September 03, 2015 --(PR.com
)-- Ad 2 Orlando has announced Fairways for Warriors as the recipient of their 2015 – 2016 pro bono Public Service campaign. Fairways for Warriors is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide hope, healing and camaraderie for wounded warriors through the game of golf.
“We’re excited to partner with Fairways for Warriors to help bring community awareness in aiding combat wounded veterans with their mental and physical rehabilitation through golf,” said Alicia Abbott, president of Ad 2 Orlando. “The organization gives these brave men and women the opportunity to heal from their most significant injuries – the injuries that we can’t see such as: depression, post-traumatic stress, and traumatic brain injury."
Fairways for Warriors was founded in April 2010 to help veterans through the rehabilitation process with physical, cognitive, social and emotional health benefits through golf. The organization uses the money raised to help provide golf equipment, instruction and outings for veterans who have military-related disabilities.
Each year, Ad 2 Orlando chooses a local non-profit organization and volunteers thousands of hours towards the planning, development, and execution of each client’s integrated marketing communications campaign. This initiative is part of the national Ad 2 organization’s eighty year commitment to giving back to the community.
Ad 2 Orlando is still looking for more volunteers for this year’s Public Service campaign. To get involved and to help make a difference for veterans in Central Florida, please contact the Ad 2 Orlando Public Service team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
