Family Promise Receives New Community Support

Diverse organizations contribute to 2015 funding.

Denver, CO, September 03, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Family Promise has received an overwhelming amount of new support from local and national foundations to sustain shelter, food and supportive services for homeless families during the first months of 2015.

Nine groups, including the AJL Charitable Foundation, American Family Insurance, Daniels Fund, Fritz Fund, Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation, John G. Duncan Charitable Trust, Littleton Rotary Foundation and Social Venture Partners, have provided funding for general operations as well as new programming tied to case management, mentor offerings and rental assistance.

“We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our local community and beyond,” said Jolynn Snyder, executive director at Family Promise. “Families are one of the fastest growing segments of the homeless population, and these foundations are true partners in our effort to end homelessness one family at a time.”

Over the last 18 years, Family Promise of Greater Denver has served more than 1,100 families. Learn more about the nonprofit’s new services.
