Exceptional Children's Foundation Receives Grant from the Norris Foundation

Culver City, CA, September 10, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Exceptional Children’s Foundation (ECF) is pleased to announce the award of a grant from the Kenneth T. and Eileen L. Norris Foundation to support the ECF Kayne Eras Center School. This grant will help provide comprehensive educational, therapeutic, and enrichment programs for K-12 students with special needs.

The Kenneth T. and Eileen L. Norris Foundation supports programs that advance better health and intellectual enlightenment through education, cultivation of the arts, individual responsibility, freedom, and dignity.

“On behalf of ECF, we greatly appreciate the generous and long-standing support of the Norris Foundation. This grant will allow us to help the students at the Kayne Eras Center School to reach their full potential," said Scott Bowling, President and CEO of ECF.

Assistant School Director Francziska Steagall explained, “Some of our students have struggled to fit in at their previous schools. When they come to Kayne Eras, they are no longer alone. Instead, they receive the customized one-on-one attention they need to feel safe so they can learn and excel. Regular support from partners like the Norris Foundation allows the Kayne Eras School to provide our students with a myriad of support services to help them build self-esteem and grow.”
