)-- Zyrobotics received the award for best in mobile hardware for their assistive device TabAccess at the Atlanta Mobile Awards 2015. TabAccess, a Bluetooth switch interface, is one of the first products offered by Zyrobotics, an assistive technology company that allows users with limited upper mobility to interact with tablets. TabAccess is an alternative way to interact with any tablet that uses an Android or iOS platform. TabAccess was developed based on an exclusive license to technology derived from research at the Georgia Institute of Technology and funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).
The Atlanta Mobile Awards was hosted by the Atlanta Marketing Organization (AMMO) to highlight companies that are excelling in different categories via mobile marketing channels. Atlanta is becoming the hub for innovative startups and AMMO creates a forum where businesses can share their marketing expertise and experiences with each other.
Zyrobotics is pleased that individuals see the value in TabAccess and hope to continue to develop products that address the needs of individuals of all abilities. TabAccess encourages the use of mobile technology by allowing users with disabilities to access tablets. This aligns with the company’s core mission, which is to provide freedom through technology.
