"Hitting the Nail on the Head" with the Hammer Indicator

OS-ActiveQuant Framework integrates in its latest release the usage hammer pattern along with enhanced functionality.

Zug, Switzerland, December 12, 2007 --(PR.com)-- ActiveQuant's Release Candidate 2 - The Open-Source framework, published on 12/05/2007, supports the ability to scan various market instruments to see if a hammer pattern is present or is forming, which can be used to indicate a falling market. Under normal conditions those falling trends result in a hammer pattern, suggesting that there might be possible over selling in the market and a possible uptrend may follow.

The component detects the formation of hammer patterns and sends analysis reports to the user via e-mail. This automated process saves users significant time and effort in a simple yet time consuming analysis process.

Besides this main feature, ActiveQuant's AnalysisKit has been expended in its ability in analysing and processing data. It now provides summarized data about an analysed symbol. The necessary data for this component is provided by the HistoryDownload application, which can retrieve and store tick level data in various database formats, beside the Internet, now the usage of MySQL 5 and Derby database via a hibernate interface is implemented. The Charting Trading Browser is another new feature that is now supported that is based off of this increased database functionality.

In addition to all new features, several additional extensions for the broker layer were implemented together with solving issues from previous releases.
Overall 2.000 small changes were placed together in this release.
