Repairtxt Launches Online Tool for Writers and Content Marketers to Help Avoid Jargon

Mumbai, India, September 28, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Content writers and marketing executives can now easily check how simple and jargon-free their content is with a simple online tool.

Clarity, launched on September 21, checks for overused industry terms and clichés, and calculates the ‘jargon density’ of content. The tool runs on a clean web interface, and includes several features to help analyze text for use of jargon.

Clarity is built on a database of nearly 600 words that are extensively overused in corporate and business writing. Apart from knowing the jargon density, the tool highlights popular industry clichés for a quick review. The free version lets writers and content marketers paste up to 200 words in a clean user interface. The paid version provides simple language alternatives to jargon terms found in the text.

Clarity jargon checker at a glance:

The jargon buster tool scans for complex and hard to understand words in business writing for brochures, whitepapers, case studies, press releases and website content, etc. It offers:

- 600+ in-built jargon dictionary
- Jargon highlighter
- Jargon density calculator
- Alternative word suggestions
- Checking of text up to 800 words

Clarity also comes in a Word macro version which can check unlimited content inside Word documents.

The new online tool has been developed by Amit Sharma, who runs Repairtxt.com, a start-up online writing and editing service in Mumbai. “I was inspired by other online tools for writers that checked for aspects such as readability, or suggested titles and headlines. Since there was no online utility that checked for use of complex and difficult language, I decided to develop one. Clarity will allow anyone who manages content to check whether write-ups are simple and easy to understand,” he said.
