Los Angeles, CA, October 04, 2015 --(PR.com)-- At the seventh annual Sip Awards held in Newport Beach, CA, consumers judged over 400 spirits, and Sangre de Vida® came home with a Silver, Bronze and Gold Medal for its Blanco, Reposado and Añejo expressions, respectively. Winning these medals, qualifies these Sangre de Vida® offerings to enter the 2016 Consumers' Choice Awards. Additionally, each offering took home a Silver Medal at the Glorious Spirits' Made in Mexico awards, which took place in San Diego and was judged by industry executives.

This year the portfolio has seen great success thus far this year, winning a plethora of awards and accolades: Sangre de Vida® Reposado Tequila took home the Double Gold award from the 2015 Spirit Tasting Competition at the 72nd annual Wine & Spirits Wholesalers of America (WSWA) Convention, along with the honor of Best of Show; all three expressions—the Blanco, Reposado and Añejo—were honored with Double Gold Packaging Design Awards and Silver Medals from The 2015 San Francisco World Spirits Competition; and each received a 94-point score from THE TASTING PANEL Magazine.

Made in Jalisco, Mexico, Sangre de Vida's® uses traditional means, such as brick ovens for roasting piñas and double-distillation in cooper pot stills, to produce this award-winning spirit. Unaged, Sangre de Vida® Blanco Tequila (ABV 40%, SRP $40) has a clean mouthfeel that delivers notes of sweet agave, minerals and chocolate to the tastebuds. The 110-proof Sangre De Vida® Reposado (ABV 55%, SRP $45) balances the warmth from the alcohol with citrus and spices of cayenne and cinnamon. Aged for a minimum of 12 months in oak, Sangre De Vida® Añejo Tequila (ABV 40%, SRP $50) provides a complex bouquet of honey, orange and clove that the palate mirrors elegantly.
