Greater Seattle Romance Writers Invites Readers to Free “Passport to Romance” Event October 17th

Readers of all types of romance fiction are invited to meet, mingle and take photos with 40+ authors and cover models, win raffle prizes, and celebrate romantic fiction of all genres - from mild to wild, historical to sci-fi.

Bellevue, WA, October 07, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Fans of romance novels, novellas and short stories are invited to attend the “Passport to Romance” Reader’s Event party October 17th at the Westin Hotel in Bellevue, WA from 6pm-8pm. Romantic fiction of all genres - from mild to wild, historical to sci-fi - will be represented. This event is free and open to the general public.

Attendees enjoy the opportunity to meet, mingle, get autographs, and take photos with more than 40 authors plus professional male cover models, win prizes in the gift basket raffle, vote in the romance novel cover contest, and more. The first 100 attendees also receive a special goodie bag.

"Authors and readers of romantic fiction often have a profound influence on each other that can be life changing,” states Anna Alexander, Author and President of the Greater Seattle Romance Writers of America (GSRWA). “We wanted to celebrate that bond, and all that is special about the romance genre, with a fantastic party." All raffle proceeds go to support the Domestic Abuse Women's Network (DAWN).

The “Passport to Romance” reader event is designed to:

· Connect romance lovers with their favorite – and soon to be favorite – authors, cover models and books in a fun, informal setting.
· Give new and established authors, publishers, and retailers the opportunity to reach more readers.
· Raise money to support the work of the Domestic Abuse Women's Network (DAWN).
· Celebrate everything that is wonderful about romantic fiction and its readers.
