)-- Ephraim Global, the Tokyo-based asset management company, has announced today that Kerstin Soderstrom, the Director of Human Resources, has decided to step down and pursue other endeavors. Ms. Soderstrom has occupied the position of Director of Human Resources since August 2006 and she will leave the business effective October 9, 2015.
Tatsuo Kurosawa, currently Director of Human Resources for Ephraim Global Multi-Asset department, will occupy the vacated position on an interim basis following Ms. Soderstrom’s departure. During this time the Board of Directors will conduct an internal and external search for an appropriate and permanent successor.
“Kerstin has led the continuous development of the Human Resources department in our business, has been an important member of our Executive Committee for more than 5 years and was instrumental in implementing social responsibility projects and employee-focused benefits plans across the company.
