MedAware Systems’ Second Angel Financing Round Successfully Closes

Broomfield, CO, October 28, 2015 --(PR.com)-- MedAware Systems, Inc. announced today it has successfully completed its second Angel financing round.

The Company raised $1,000,000 in this round. Proceeds were primarily directed toward finalizing and launching the Beta version of its innovative and disruptive big medical data service. Key to the launch of the Beta version was the development of the Company’s internal suite of software platforms called the Scientific Data Analysis Solution (SDAS)TM.This set of tools enables the melding of human intelligence with a sophisticated software interface, allowing the Company to extract data from medical research studies with near 100% accuracy. The tools are comprised of web based applications that manage the entire process of scientific medical literature identification, literature evaluation, content data extraction, data extraction verification, and data storage and management. This is the key component for aggregating medical research studies, extracting data from them and uploading that data to the database.

“We are pleased to have successfully completed this round of financing,” said Michael Willis, CEO of MedAware Systems. He adds, “It is evident that investors clearly see the tremendous value of our data service, including how the service will greatly improve patient outcomes, provide better efficiency, reduce costs, and increase revenues for healthcare organizations. With the rapidly increasing trend toward a Value-Based care model in healthcare, the pay-for-performance system that rewards providers for successful health outcomes for patients, MedAware Systems is at the right place at the right time.”
