Richard A. Speizman, National Partner-in-Charge, Exempt Organizations Tax Practice, KPMG LLP to Speak at the Knowledge Congress' Event on Form 990 Overhaul on 1/23/08
The Knowledge Congress, the leading producer of regulatory focused teleconferences has announced today that Richard A. Speizman, National Partner-in-Charge, Exempt Organizations Tax Practice of KPMG LLP will speak at the Knowledge Congress’ upcoming teleconference entitled: “Form 990 Overhaul.” This 2-hour event is scheduled for January 23, 2008, Wednesday, at 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM EST.
Recently, the Internal Revenue Service has released a discussion as per to the proposed overhaul of the Form 990 or the main tax form for certain tax-exempt organizations. This action done by the IRS is to make things easier for the agency itself and for the public to track and scrutinize the finances, governance and accomplishments of the certain tax-exempt organizations.
The Knowledge Congress is assembling a panel of distinguished experts to help make this proposed revision for the Form 990 clear to the organizations most impacted. The panel will present their findings, which will include best practices in a two-hour teleconference.
