Run Wild Retreats Adds Costa Brava to 2016 Wellness Retreat Roster

Carbondale, CO, October 30, 2015 --( Run Wild Retreats, the Colorado-based running and wellness company founded by mindful running coach Elinor Fish, has added a new retreat in Costa Brava to its lineup of women-only wellness retreats. The Costa Brava Running + Wellness Retreat ( will take place in Catalonia, Spain, April 23 – 29, 2016.

Modeled after its sold-out retreats in Iceland, the Colorado Rockies and Moab, Utah, the Costa Brava Running + Wellness Retreat offers women a week-long immersion in healthy running techniques while exploring one of Europe’s most stunning costal landscapes.

“There’s something about traveling to a new and exotic place to really recharge your energy and make lasting investments in your health and wellness,” says Fish. “These retreats always draw the most incredible group of women together because of their shared love of running. We welcome runners with a wide range of experience and fitness levels because the runs are so adaptable.”

Starting from the historic city of Girona, runners travel on foot from fishing village to fishing village along trails and pathways winding northward toward the Pyrenees while their luggage is transported between destinations. Guests stay in luxury boutique hotels, including castles and centuries-old homesteads that have been converted into modern accommodations.

The itinerary includes three Wellness Workshops with Elinor, natural running form clinics on the beach, wine tasting and tapas at a family-run winery, free time to explore Cadéques and other historic towns. Guests will dine on the world-class Catalan cuisine for which this region is known.

Those who sign up with a friend each save $100 off the package price that includes Elinor’s transformative Mindful Running Training System and two private coaching sessions.

The Costa Brava Running + Wellness Retreat is the newest addition to Run Wild Retreats’ growing suite of mindful running immersions in the U.S., Canada and Europe.
