Monster Kids Academy Announces Their First Crowdfunding Campaign

The Anti-Bullying Children's Book Series Bets on Parents Support on Kickstarter.

Atlanta, GA, October 31, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Today, Monster Kids Academy, a fiction book series for the 8-12 y.o. children that promotes anti-bullying in schools, just announced that they launched their first crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter. After the first 3 books received a positive feedback on Amazon, author Marq Boyce decided to get the necessary resources to publish the rest of 7 books from the series.

At the campaign launch, Author Marq Boyce said: “As a child, I took great pleasure in reading imaginative, story-driven books. It had never occurred to me that I would be using my own first-hand experience in dealing with a troubling and sadly all-too-common issue: Childhood Bullying.

“When dealing with frustrating issues at a young age, we tend to keep it all pent up inside. For a book series, I envisioned an imaginary world of monster kids, where everyone was different in a unique way. Although this would be a magical world, the experiences these kids shared would parallel what children might face in the real world. Out of this came Monster Kids Academy.”

For the Kickstarter campaign, Monster Kids Academy prepared several reward packs for the backers:

- Books signed for every child

- E-books and posters

- Backpacks

- Christmas Gift Pack

- Child becomes a character in the next books that will be published (limited to 5)
