Local IT Firm Goes Beyond Technology Support for Independent Schools
Local technology firm, i-Tech Support, once again demonstrated their commitment to community and education with a generous contribution to the Park Maitland School for the upcoming Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS) 2015 conference.
Ocoee, FL, November 01, 2015 --(PR.com)-- On November 5th-6th, the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS) convention will bring together leaders, educators, students, vendors and exhibitors to Orlando for its annual conference. Themed “Inspiring Greatness!”, the conference will provide opportunities to explore new ways to ignite passion in our education system, and a forum to explore future opportunities for school leaders and classroom educators.

The conference is posed to be a one of the best yet, featuring several presentations from globally recognized speakers, including:
· Keynote address by Christian Long on topics ranging from design thinking mindsets, trends in education, emerging technologies and innovative school design practices. Christian will also host a “post-conference” break out session to explore the future of learning through a human-centered design lens.
· The Effective Advancement Team–Self Knowledge and Team Building presented by Paula Schwartz, Amy Riley, and Bill Simmer of Independent School Management (ISM)
· “Discovering the characteristics of an authentic leader” by international scholar Tony Wagner building off the themes from his 2014 book, Leadership in the Crucible of Work.
· “The new DASL data interface” by Ms. Hilary LaMonte from NAIS
· “Progressive culture of excellence and experiential learning” presented by Nishant Mehta, Head of School at the Children’s School in Midtown Atlanta.
