Landmark Athens Office Building Completed and Ready for Leasing

Colliers Hellas to lease new Spanos S.A. building on Syngrou & Amphitheas Avenue junction.

Athens, Greece, December 16, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The new 2,000 m2 Class A Spanos S.A. building on the strategic Athens boulevard of Syngrou Avenue is completed and ready for leasing. That’s according to Colliers International Hellas which is the exclusive leasing agent.

The Spanos building at the junction of Syngrou and Amphitheas Avenue offers a total office area of 2,015 m2 on four levels and 33 underground parking spaces covering a total underground area of 1,100 m2. Four new office floors are ready for leasing.

Syngrou is considered by analysts to be an area with enormous potential. Currently more than ten projects are under development on the avenue, with Syngrou’s strategic location as well as high demand for prime office space in Athens driving the interest of developers and investors. In 2008-2009 more high-end projects are expected to be completed on Syngrou Avenue, including the 18,000 m2 House of Letters and Arts for the Onassis Foundation and the National Modern Art Museum.

Katerina Kalfamanoli, Director of Investments & Commercial Leasing in Colliers International Hellas, concluded, “This building offers superb opportunities for companies who wish to be located on a prime strategic axis of the nation’s capital.”

Marina Gialini, General Manager of Colliers International Hellas, said, “This is a fantastic building for us to represent. We really believe that Syngrou Avenue’s image is radically changing and that landmark Class A buildings such as the Spanos S.A. will eventually prevail.”

Colliers International Southeast Europe was recently named Property Consultant of the Year for the region for the second straight year.
