ClearSounds Honors SuperHEARoes Who Make a Positive Impact on Hearing Loss

ClearSounds, the leading manufacturer of advanced listening devices, is excited to announce their newest campaign against hearing loss: ClearSounds SuperHEARoes, featuring a diverse group of passionate individuals who have made a massive positive impact on the hearing loss community.

Naperville, IL, November 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- ClearSounds Communications, the leading manufacturer of listening technology for people with hearing loss, is excited to announce their newest campaign in the fight against hearing loss: ClearSounds SuperHEARoes. The nomination-driven campaign will feature a diverse group of individuals within the sphere of hearing loss who have made a notable positive impact on an individual or on the larger community.

The first SuperHEARo of the campaign is Esther Kelly. She may juggle roles with the Deaf Action Center in Dallas and the Texas Office for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Services, but her real mission is to help people with hearing loss stay in the workforce and be independent as long as possible. What makes Esther a SuperHEARo, though, is the passion, enthusiasm and joy she shares as she fulfills her mission.

She offers insight, support and advice about the complex technology within the world of hearing loss. While she takes advantage of every possible moment to impart words of wisdom and valuable knowledge, it is her energy, her zest for making a difference that sets her apart. “Esther changes people’s lives by helping them maintain their dignity and their independence,” said Michele Ahlman, ClearSounds’ president & CEO. “She spreads her enthusiasm and shares her years of experience with a gracious generosity that inspires others, and that’s why she’s a SuperHEARo.”

ClearSounds is now accepting nominations in order to choose their future SuperHEARoes. Whether an individual made a difference in the life of one single person or a large group of people, what makes someone a SuperHEARo is affecting the hearing loss community in a positive way. To nominate a future SuperHEARo, send an email to submissions@clearsounds.com.

The November/December issue of Hearing Loss Magazine will include a feature that introduces the ClearSounds SuperHEARoes. The two-page spread comprises an illustration of Esther as well as a description of why she was selected to be the first ClearSounds SuperHEARo. Illustrations of the ClearSounds SuperHEARoes are being created by Bryan Dyer, the talented artist behind You Are the Hero, a nonprofit that seeks to help uplift and inspire children living with chronic, life-changing or potentially life-threatening illnesses by allowing them to envision themselves as the superhero they want to be and help choose their superhero name, powers and costume.
