MoneySense Education Presents “Financial Fitness”

MoneySense Education presents “Financial Fitness” with Financial Advisors Colin Mackenzie and Mark Easterday.

Pasadena, CA, December 16, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Hosted at the beautiful University Club of Pasadena, MoneySense held the first of their “Financial Fitness” classes. Financial Fitness is a series of classes that are dedicated to educating consumers in all areas of personal finance. This Financial Fitness class was tag lined “Where to put the Money?” Financial Advisors Colin Mackenzie and Mark Easterday were the guest speakers of the night, sharing the stage with MoneySense educator John Thompson.

Mark Easterday, who works for Merrill Lynch in Orange County, spoke about the “consumption monster” that is plagues many consumers today and how creating the habit of regular monthly saving, even in small amounts, can have a huge impact on a persons retirement planning (and overall financial goals.)

Colin Mackenzie, Co-Owner of Financial Networks in Pasadena, discussed the importance of working with qualified financial professionals in all areas of finance.

The thirty plus attendees received valuable knowledge from all of the speakers this night. Look for the next workshop coming up in a few weeks when MoneySense Education presents “Borrow Smart, Retire Rich” for consumers.
