Abercrombie and Fitch/Hollister Co. to Support Anti-Bullying with a Donation to STOMP Out Bullying™

STOMP Out Bullying™ announces that Hollister, a division of Abercrombie & Fitch, has made a $25,000 donation that will be used to improve the anti-bullying organization’s Live HelpChat Line.

New York, NY, November 18, 2015 --(PR.com)-- The STOMP Out Bullying™ Live HelpChat Line is a free and confidential help chat for students ages 13 - 24. It is intended to assist those who are victims of all forms of bullying and those who may be at risk for suicide as a result of being bullied.

The $25,000 donation Hollister has made to STOMP Out Bullying will be used to build a stronger platform to identify kids in danger in a faster and more accurate way. The result will be the ability to help even more youth at risk.

“Our goal is to help youth at risk reduce the stress they are feeling as a result of being bullied and to empower them to make healthy decisions,” said STOMP Out Bullying™ founder Ross Ellis. “With this generous donation, we will have the ability to increase that number even more,” she stated.

Hollister is committed to bullying prevention and has reached over 1 million students around the world since launching its anti-bullying initiative in 2013. Each year, the company’s campaign raises awareness and provides tools and resources to help students prevent bullying. Hollister champions its customers and employees to be inclusive to all – regardless of their race, how they look, their sexual orientation or beliefs.

"No one should be bullied," said Fran Horowitz Brand President of Hollister. “We know STOMP Out Bullying’s HelpChat Line is a key resource teens rely on to quickly and effectively resolve bullying issues. We are proud to lend our support to strengthen this critical platform.”

To date, the STOMP Out Bullying™HelpChat Line has assisted over 50,000 students and has saved almost 700 lives. These numbers increase daily.
