Lauren Shippen Signs with A.M.W. Talent Agency

Los Angeles, CA, November 27, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Lauren Shippen recently signed with A.M.W. Talent Agency for theatrical and commercial representation. An actress and singer based in Los Angeles, Shippen can be seen as the lead in multiple independent short films and in the web series "Natural 20." This summer, she starred as Wendla in a production of "Spring Awakening" at the NoHo Arts Center and received very positive reviews for her portrayal. Lauren also has her own YouTube channel, "According to Tumblr," which has a few thousand subscribers and counting. Most recently, she has launched a new science fiction podcast series "The Bright Sessions," for which she is the writer, producer and actor.

Lauren received a degree in Music from The College of William & Mary. Since moving to Los Angeles, she has studied Alexander Technique at the Howard Fine Studio, audition technique with Risa Bramon Garcia and is currently taking scene work classes with Tim Conlon at The BGB Studio.
