DMI Delivers Enhanced Mobile Experience to the Art Community with App from Art Basel

Premier Art App Connects the Top Galleries in the World with Art Collectors

Bethesda, MD, December 11, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Forrester predicts that 2016 will be the age of the customer, stating that in 2015, customer experience rose to the number one priority for business and technology leaders and in 2016, it will be among the top 10 critical success factors. As the world’s first end-to-end mobile solutions provider, DMI today announced the availability of an app to enhance the user experience in the art community. The Art Basel mobile app puts the world’s finest art at users’ fingertips by providing essential information about three international art fairs, including its Miami Beach show that took place last week. The app, which connects art lovers with top art collectors around the world, is available for Android and Apple devices.

Designed with the user’s experience in mind, the Art Basel app features a newsfeed that allows art lovers to see the latest news surrounding an event in real time, view upcoming events and browse a catalog that contains information on thousands of artworks, artists and galleries.

DMI, creating engagement in a mobile-first world: DMI leveraged its deep expertise in mobile app design and development to create an easy-to-use, engaging experience for art enthusiasts, galleries and collectors. Using the latest technologies and UX/UI design and development methodologies, DMI delivers mobile apps across all devices and platforms. The company worked with Art Basel on planning and ideation, UX/UI design, development, quality assurance and user testing, as well as measurement and enhancement.

Interactive experiences: Attendees to the Art Basel events in Basel, Hong Kong and Miami Beach are able to favorite and/or take notes on any artwork, artist or gallery, which they can then share with friends and colleagues. They can also visit their favorite artwork or gallery at the event through an interactive floor plan.

Ongoing interactions: In addition to improving the on-site show experience for attendees, the app will also engage users 365 days of the year with a live newsfeed that gives them the ability to discover other artists, artwork and galleries that interest them.

Magnus Jern, president, mobile application solutions division, DMI, said:
“Companies in every industry today realize that a mobile strategy is necessary if they want to keep customers and prospects engaged, and that’s why we provide services for every step of the mobility journey, from design and development to user experience and measurable engagement.
