Pennsylvania Business Owner Establishes "Kindness Grant" Program

Mr. Bob Butts has recently initiated a "Kindness Grant" award program. Mr. Butts gives $500 grants to schools, school classes, and prisoner groups to encourage "kindness" on the part of the students or prisoners towards each other or towards others.

Scranton, PA, December 20, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Mr. Butts, the owner of Cee-Kay Auto Parts in Northeastern PA, is asking other companies in Northeastern PA and all across the state of PA and country to issue "Kindness Grant" awards of $500.00 so more "Kindness Grants" can be awarded to schools, school classes, and prisoner groups. Any school, school class, or prisoner group can apply to receive a "Kindness Grant." How the "Kindness Grant" program works is this:

The school, school class, or prisoner group has to come up with a very unique, special, and ongoing initiative of "kindness" to receive The "Kindness Grant." The idea must be created and developed by the students or prisoners themselves.

If a school chooses to participate in the "Kindness Grant" initiative as a school, then they will be eligible to receive only one "Kindness Grant" for their school. Only one "Kindness Grant" of $500.00 will be issued to each school, school class, or prisoner group.

When a company or organization provides funding for a "Kindness Grant" the owner or executives from that company or organization can decide who gets the grant from their company or organization. There will be a list of approved schools, school classes, or prisoner groups for the "Kindness Grant" that they can select from. They can also ask the committee involved with the initiative to make the decision as to who gets the grant if they prefer. The donor company or organization will however issue the grant directly to the school, school class, or prisoner group. Mr. Butts and the individuals who are working with him do not want to receive the money for the grant. They want the grant to go directly to the school, school class, or prisoner group. All of those who are involved with this project do not want to receive any compensation or personal benefit for promoting the "Kindness Grants" or the "kindness" initiative.

The donor company or organization for the "Kindness Grant" will be featured on the blog HaroldSays as well as on The Be Positive Day Website for their generosity in making a "kindness" grant donation.

The school, school class, or prisoner group, (if allowed), and their "kindness" project will be featured on the blog at HaroldSays as well as on The Be Positive Day Website for having received a "kindness" grant.
