Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School Co-Hosts Seventh Annual Home for Good Forum and Job Fair

Atlanta, GA, December 16, 2015 --(PR.com)-- Atlanta's John Marshall Law School in partnership with the Governor’s Office of Transition, Support & Reentry, and GREENHOOD hosted the Seventh Annual Home for Good Forum and Job Fair on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Blackburn Conference Center.

The purpose of the forum was to provide returning citizens with vital resources and employment opportunities, while facilitating informative and interactive public discussions between academics, religious leaders, returning citizens, government agencies, non-profit groups, and law students regarding reentry and recidivism.

Voter registration, health screenings and record restriction assistance are just a few of the services that participants received. Likewise, attorneys were on site to assist returning citizens with free legal consultations and over 200 people attended the annual forum, including approximately 150 reentering citizens. Several John Marshall students were also on hand to serve as volunteers. Chick-Fil-A and Kroger were this year’s sponsors.
