90octane Lends a Hand at the Denver Santa Claus Shop

The interactive marketing agency staff is happy to serve the needy during holiday season.

Denver, CO, December 21, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The entire staff of Denver-based interactive marketing agency 90octane traded in a morning at the office to volunteer for The Denver Santa Claus Shop. In its 77th year of providing toys to the needy, the non-profit organization operates a toy store serving children in the City and County of Denver, while three other shops cover those in Adams, Arapahoe and Jefferson Counties.

Invitations are mailed to families with children up to age 11 through Denver’s Department of Social Services. During the four-day giveaway at the Denver Shop, $100,000 of new toys, as well as toys donated through area schools, companies, King Soopers drives and 9NEWS drives are given out. 14,000 tots will receive gifts.

90octane staff members, as some of the 200 volunteers who work at the Shop, enjoyed their tasks of organizing gifts, assisting families with their selections and participating in the ribbon-cutting ceremony with Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper.

“Participating in events like this allows us to give back to the community, get to know each other better and truly appreciate the holiday season,” said Jim Grinney, Partner at 90octane.
