Toronto, Canada, December 19, 2015 --(PR.com)-- World Parkinson’s Program announces the delivery of educations material including 13,000 Parkinson’s disease brochures and quad canes to Africa Parkinson’s Association to be provided to the poverty afflicted Parkinson’s patients who are not able to afford these healthcare supplies.

Thousands of Parkinson’s patients in Kenya, Africa are not able to buy their medications, walkers or canes; hence they suffer with multiple Parkinson’s disease complications including falls. Quad canes donated by the World Parkinson’s Program will be distributed by the representative of the World Parkinson’s Program with Africa Parkinson’s Association. Multilingual Parkinson’s disease brochures are an essential tool to educate Parkinson’s patients about various aspects of Parkinson’s disease so they can better cope with their symptoms and learn effective strategies to fight this disabling illness.

“This is also a part of our 'Fall Prevention Campaign',” says Aamir Malik, the chair of Patient and Caregiver council of the World Parkinson’s Program.
