T&K Managing Partner Appointed to Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce Board

Dallas, TX, December 21, 2007 --(PR.com)-- The international law firm of Thompson & Knight LLP is pleased to announce the appointment of Managing Partner Peter J. Riley as a Board Member of the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce effective January 18, 2008. Riley will serve a three-year term. Along with the other members of the Chamber's Board of Directors, Riley will be responsible for the management and control of the business and affairs of the Chamber.

Riley has served as Thompson & Knight’s Managing Partner and Chairman of the Management Committee since 2001. He also serves as Executive Committee Chairman of the Firm’s energy consulting subsidiary, Thompson & Knight Global Energy Services, LLC. Additionally, Riley has more than 20 years of experience representing multi-party bank groups in complex financial reorganizations in and out of court. He has also represented business organizations in complex financial reorganizations, including matters that involved several of the largest bankruptcy cases in U.S. history, through consensual workout, pre-packaged plans, and contested plan confirmations.
