ARGI Financial Group Kicks Off New Year with Expanded Commitment to Community

Louisville, KY, December 24, 2015 --(PR.com)-- ARGI Financial Group, a Louisville, Kentucky based wealth management firm has established ARGI Gives, a charitable program dedicated to improving the lives of others in the communities they serve. Beginning in 2016, ARGI Gives will provide grants and volunteer support to nonprofit organizations in the communities of Louisville, Kentucky; Bowling Green, Kentucky; Cincinnati, Ohio; Indianapolis, Indiana; and Grand Rapids, Michigan.

As a firm, commitment is one of ARGI’s core values. Collectively, ARGI employee and corporate donations over the past year have surpassed $100,000. and nearly 2000 volunteer hours among it’s staff of 104. While this commitment will no doubt continue, the ARGI Gives foundation will provide more meaningful impact. ARGI Gives corporate giving program brings together the time, talents and financial resources of ARGI. Employee governed; employee guided; employee funded.

Over the past two decades, ARGI has grown to five offices in four states with more than $1 Billion in managed assets, averaging 30% growth in each of the past five years. They’ve made the Inc. 5000 list of Fastest Growing Private Companies in America for seven consecutive years (2009-2015)*. In mid-June, ARGI’s corporate headquarters relocated to a new 37,000 sf building to accommodate the substantial growth. The firm recognizes it is the trust and assurance of the people in the communities they serve who have provided this success, and want to further their commitment to them.

Since 2013, ARGI’s Commitment Committee has chosen to support Family Scholar House by donating a percentage of revenue and involving all employees in volunteer efforts. ARGI Gives will continue this partnership, but will expand to support other nonprofits through grants and volunteer activities.

ARGI Gives Chair Colin Gray stated, “As our company grows, the amount of time and resources expands as well. Our partnership with Family Scholar House has been strong and continues to improve, but we now have the resources to help additional organizations, especially those in the communities of our outlying offices.”

ARGI Gives is developing strategies to provide quarterly grants based on four core focuses: education, environment, health, and youth. The grants will be available to 501c3 organizations located in any of the five ARGI branch communities, and whose mission aligns with any of the four core focuses. Details regarding the grants and application process will be available at the beginning of the year.
