"4 Steps to Financial Freedom" Presented by MoneySense Education to Alliance Space Systems.

Pasadena, CA, December 23, 2007 --(PR.com)-- On Wednesday, December 19th, 2007 MoneySense Education presented “4 Steps to Financial Freedom” workshop to the employees of Alliance Space Systems Pasadena location.

John Thompson educated the twenty-five or so attendees on the 4 Steps and the importance of starting to build wealth starting now, and the profound affect that time will have in aiding the creation of it. Each step is building to the next, but the ultimate goal is different for everyone.

Step one, “Create a Cash Cushion” – For small emergencies, car problems and life’s surprises.

Step two, “Eliminate Non-Preferred Debt” – Pay off all credit cards, student loans and installment debt (this may include cars),

Step three, “Build Liquidity” – Initially 6-12 months worth of expenses in case of job loss or serious health issues. Also, for investment opportunities, financial safety college/retirement funding.

Step four, “Pay off your Mortgage” or “Fund your Life Dreams” – Early retirement, vacation homes, second careers, travel or charity all fall within this step. Also referred to as “Reaching your Freedom Point”; this happens when your assets are greater than your liabilities.

At the completion of the workshop, which took place during Alliance Space Systems regular lunch hour, many of the attendees stayed after to discuss their personal situations and let us know that they have been motivated into action.
