World Candle Industry Leaders Unite at 2016 World Candle Congress & Trade Show in April

Washington, DC, January 23, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Puerto Rico will host leaders in the candle industry from around the world for the 5th World Candle Congress & Trade Show on April 4-8, 2016. Every three years, the National Candle Association (NCA) and The Latin American Candle Manufacturers Association (ALAFAVE) bring together the international industry for technical presentations, workshops, networking opportunities and a suppliers’ trade show. The Congress is expected to attract over 600 attendees from 30 countries.

The meeting has been designed to foster interaction among manufacturers and industry suppliers to promote international understanding of industry issues. With exhibitors from multiple continents, the Trade Show will be the largest yet, showcasing a variety of products used in the candle making process. The Trade Show will take place from 12:30 -6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6.

Although attendees will have no trouble understanding a passion for candles, Steven West of Wedo Wicks returns to the conference to discuss the multi-faceted fascination connected to candles as a product. His approach will not only cover the technical viewpoint but also touch on the emotional side of candles. The conference officially concludes Thursday, April 7, with a networking breakfast, keynote speaker, and technical program.

The event is co-hosted by the National Candle Association (NCA), the trade association representing North American candle manufacturers and their suppliers, and the Asociacion Latinoamericana de Fabricantes de Velas (ALAFAVE), the Latin American Candle Manufacturers Association, which represents Latin America candle manufacturers and suppliers. Additional information about the 2016 World Candle Congress & Trade Show, including registration and exhibitor materials, can be found on NCA’s website, candles.org.
