Family Promise to Host Winter Events

Brewery fundraiser and pancake breakfast will kick off 2016.

Denver, CO, January 25, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Family Promise is excited to host two upcoming events to bring supporters together and foster its mission of serving families experiencing homelessness.

The first fundraiser, Pints with a Purpose, will be Tuesday evening, Jan. 26, at Copper Kettle Brewing Company: $1 of every pint sold will support Family Promise. The nonprofit is also hosting a pancake breakfast Saturday morning, Feb. 6, at Calvary Baptist Church in Denver.

“These events are all about community and a local atmosphere of food, fun and family to support a common cause,” said Allie Card, executive director of Family Promise of Greater Denver. “Fundraisers are crucial to growing our mission, and we’re excited to join our incredible volunteers, donors and other supporters at each event over the coming weeks.”

Pints with a Purpose will be 4 to 8 p.m., while the pancake fundraiser will be 7:30 to 10 a.m. Tickets to the breakfast are $10 for adults or $5 for children 12 and under.
