Lawrence A. Rasheed, Teacher and Mentor for RAAMP, Has Been Selected for Inclusion in the 2007-2008 Princeton Premier Registry

Brentwood, CA, December 25, 2007 --(PR.com)-- Lawrence A. Rasheed, Teacher and Mentor for RAAMP, has been selected for inclusion in the 2007-2008 Princeton Premier Registry. Lawrence makes his home in Brentwood California and teaches eight grade English as well as helping children with everyday needs and their behavior. Lawrence received his Bachelor’s degree in English from The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and his teaching credentials from Project PipeLine. Reaching African American Male’s Potential (RAAMP) is a consulting/mentoring program that understands the importance of making sure young males receive the education and support needed to take their place as future leaders.

Lawrence has many professional affiliations including National Association for the Advancement for Colored People (NAACP), National Urban League; National Council Teachers of English (NCTE); California Alliance of African American Educators (CAAAE); American Educational Research Association (AERA), National Education Association (NEA); and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. In his spare time he enjoys traveling, golf, cooking and keeping in good physical shape. Lawrence is a welcome addition in the 2007-2008 Princeton Premier Registry.
