Premium Near Beer Raises Over $400 for the Canadian Liver Foundation During Dry January Campaign

Toronto, Canada, February 03, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Premium Near Beer is pleased to announce that it has raised over $400 in support of the Canadian Liver Foundation during their Dry January campaign.

The Dry January campaign encouraged people to give up alcohol for the month of January to experience a month without booze and donate a part of the money the saved on alcohol purchases to charity. Dry January is a popular concept in the UK with over 2 million official participants annually.

Premium Near Beer was launched by Toronto entrepreneur, Ted Fleming, in 2013 and is Canada’s premiere site (www.PremiumNearBeer.com) for non-alcoholic beer, wine, cider, and spirits. Today the business offers a selection of over 20 non-alcoholic beers, a dozen non-alcoholic wines, and both alcohol-free cider and spirits.

“In 2005 I was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease,” says Ted, “and as a beer lover, it took me awhile to finally accept that I needed to eliminate alcohol from my diet. I started drinking the non-alcoholic beer available in grocery stores, bars and restaurants but they all tasted the same—I was really frustrated by the lack of options.”

Premium Near Beer has been a regular supporter of Crohn’s and Colitis Canada and the Canadian Liver Foundation.
