Save Our Cemeteries Gets Re-Interred Uptown

New Orleans Non-Profit Relocates to Larger Office Space in Garden District February 1st, 2016.

New Orleans, LA, February 09, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Save Our Cemeteries announced today that it has moved its offices from its current location in the Treme section of the city to a new uptown location effective February 1, 2016. Save Our Cemeteries' new offices are now located at 1539 Jackson Avenue, Suite 415, New Orleans, LA 70130-5896, in New Orleans’ historic Garden District. The new location will provide Save Our Cemeteries with expanded office space totalling 1,032 square feet, accommodating more room for the organization’s operations.

"We are excited about our move to our new location," states Amanda Walker, Executive Director at Save Our Cemeteries. Ms. Walker continues, "Frankly, we had outgrown our location on Basin Street. The new location uptown will better fulfill the expanding needs of our organization. It’s with heartfelt sorrow that we had to leave our location at Basin Street Station. We have appreciated the hospitality and generosity of the Basin Street Station staff and Valentino New Orleans Hotels management in hosting our organization over the past 10 years, it’s been a great relationship, but it was literally time to move on."

In conjunction with the office move, Save Our Cemeteries announced that as of February 1st, 2016 its regular daily tours of St. Louis Cemetery No. 1 will now depart from Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 411 N Rampart St, New Orleans, LA 70112.
