Now in her fifth year of entrepreneurship, Kris hopes that the website will give her clients, colleagues, friends, and family an upclose look at what she does, how she does it, and why she does it.
The website is divided into nine sections: “About KDW,” “Reading,” “News,” “Affirmations,” “Watch,” “Shop,” “Challenges,” “Blog” and “Contact.” The “Affirmations” section is special to Kris, as self-improvement has increasingly become integral to her daily routine, and empowering women has always been a part of her brand.
“In 2015, I woke up one day and realized I did not recognize myself. Since then, I have done everything in my power, from reading self-help books to following like-minded people on social media, to reconnect with the core of who I am,” Kris explained. “As a professional, it’s easy to get caught up in the corporate world and lose sight of your personal goals and passions. But now I remind people, you have to be your biggest cheerleader.”
The “Blog” and “Challenges” sections are also noteworthy additions to the website, as they will serve as portals into the advice, encouragement, and overall transparency that Kris believes more business leaders need to share. Visitors will have their pick as to how they hear from and interact with Kris, as the website will host audio, video, and print capabilities.
“I’m happy that I have this opportunity to connect with people in a genuine way. There have been countless times where someone asked me how to keep in touch or for video from a speech I gave. So, I really hope that people accept my redesigned website as the answer to that.”
