Idox Presents Paper Examining Research Impact

Idox has published its latest research funding whitepaper, titled Demonstrating Impact in Research – International Frameworks and Challenges.

London, United Kingdom, February 17, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Idox's new whitepaper considers how the contribution research makes to society and the economy is measured, and the relationship between impact and funding – key topics in the HE sector. The importance of creating solutions to societal challenges is evident in the impact strand of the EC's Horizon 2020 programme receiving the largest funding portion: a total of €29.7 billion.

'Demonstrating Impact in Research – International Frameworks and Challenges' covers:
– the changing landscape of research with the impact agenda;
– challenges faced by both academia and research funding officers; and
– tips on how to demonstrate impact – relevant to institutions seeking funding in Europe and beyond.

The paper – published today (15 February) – will support Idox during its work as main sponsor at this year's Jahrestagung der Forschungsreferenten event in Potsdam, Germany. Taking place 18-19 February, colleagues will be on hand to provide insight into the features and benefits of the RESEARCHconnect service and the latest funding developments.

The digital report is available to download on the RESEARCHconnect International website at http://www.researchconnect.eu/Page?SP=Research_Strategy
