Vancouver, Canada, March 07, 2016 --(PR.com
)-- Fireloft Inc., the developers of Standard Fusion, have secured a licensing agreement with the Standards Council of Canada (SCC) for the use of the ISO 27001:2013 standard within the Standard Fusion GRC application.
The standard will be available to users who have licensed the standard to perform Gap Analysis and Internal Audits based on the ISO 27001 requirements.
"ISO 27001 is an exciting standard for us," says Paul Guenette, Director of Fireloft Inc. "When we first designed Standard Fusion, we identified ISO 27001 as a cornerstone of information security. We believe all organizations should have an effective ISMS in place. With this licensing agreement in place, Standard Fusion can help organizations implement an ISMS based on ISO 27001, assist with the compliance of other standards, and extend controls and best practices into day-to-day operations throughout the organization."
The ISO 27001:2013 information security standard was published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electronical Commission (IEC) in September 2013, superseding ISO 27001:2005.
Organizations interested in using Standard Fusion to implement or manage their ISO 27001 ISMS may learn more at www.standardfusion.com or by contacting Fireloft directly at +1 604 670 0587 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
