Sports Camps Australia Expands AFL Football Camps After Successful Run in Sydney

Sydney Olympic Park, Australia, March 09, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Sports Camps Australia (SCA) is excited to announce the addition of four new SCA AFL Camp locations that will be running this Easter break. Camps will run throughout the end of March and into most of April and are geared toward players of all skill levels and ages who are looking to improve their skills and have fun.

“It was fantastic to get the sport off the ground in January right here in Sydney with our wonderful camp Director, Kevin Dyson, who has played over 100 games of AFL for both the Melbourne Football Club and the Sydney Swans,” comments Adrienne Lew, Marketing Director of Sports Camps Australia and AFL enthusiast. “With Coach Dyson’s help, we have expanded into Adelaide and Brisbane as well as formed a partnership with Kidzphyz to run camps in Victoria. We are looking forward to getting more and more kids involved in AFL at a young age and helping them learn valuable lessons about health, sport and friendship.”

Camp locations include University of South Australia in Adelaide, SA, St. Ignatius College Riverview in Sydney, NSW and Yarra Valley Grammar in Ringwood, VIC among others. Once at camp, kids will have the opportunity to participate in a full days schedule, which includes activities such as kicking, handball, marking, gathering, tackling and fun small sided games where we help the athletes put their new skills into play.
