Artemide is a worldwide leader in lighting design with an unparalleled commitment to technological innovation and research. Founded in 1959 by Ernesto Gismondi and Sergio Mazza, the company grew out of the Memphis Design collective and specializes in the manufacture of lighting designed by architects. Based in Milan, Artemide has collaborated with some of the world’s most talented designers including Naoto Fukasawa, Zaha Hadid, Jean Nouvel, Karim Rashid and Herzog and de Meuron.
