Toronto, Canada, March 10, 2016 --(PR.com
)-- Sarishta Katrak, a psychotherapist and mental health educator, launched her brand, Sarishta.com, earlier last month and has had more demand than ever anticipated. Sarishta, a graduate of the Schulich School of Business in Toronto, aims to create both an in-person and online mental health coaching/wellness training platform wherein she can work with individuals and companies without being hindered by distance and varying schedules. Sarishta remarked, “I’ve created a way for my clients to fit our sessions into their schedules no matter what time it might be or where they are. If they have a computer, a table, or a smart phone, we’re connected!” The Sarishta.com brand focuses on social-emotional and life skills, mental health coaching, and teaching to assist everyday people cope with the stresses of everyday life. As a trained clinical mental health counselor, Katrak uses her professional experience and personal touch to create a personalized experience for each individual. “This isn’t counseling… it’s more of a coaching session,” said Sarishta. “My clients are working professionals, they’re parents, and they’re spouses.” The Sarishta.com plans are uniquely tailored to each persons’ set of personal goals and needs, and with weekly meetings, Sarishta can directly monitor their progress [together] towards achieving goals.
When Sarishta.com launched in February 2016, the support and interest was completely unanticipated. Word of mouth referrals have been the largest source of new client leads and conversion for this young and innovative company. While continued success is definitely anticipated, Sarishta Katrak wants to keep the focus on her clients and their progress. The primary goal is to ensure that each client is receiving the one-on-one treatment, support, and guidance that they would come to expect from a professional that they were meeting in a physical office each day. Although Sarishta.com has changed the actual method by which the client and facilitator meet, ensuring that privacy standards are met, sessions are taken seriously, and clients are actually progressing through their plans on-time is of utmost importance to Sarishta. Keeping with Sarishta's ultimate goal of empowering and guiding people to achieving mental, social, and emotional well-being, Sarishta.com points out that "Whether it’s through one-on-one, couple/family, career counseling sessions in my private practice, or through one of my Continuing Education (CE) classes or speaking engagements, I always aim to educate and inspire."
Although working with individual clients has been the focus of the practice thus far, Sarishta.com has received tremendous interest from corporate clients as well. The ability to step into a workplace and provide coping/life skills would be a massive benefit for companies as retention rates for large companies are the lowest they have been in decades. Sarishta Katrak is able to communicate from personal corporate experience the true trials and tribulations of working the monotonous 9-5 and then having to manage the household responsibilities as well. Sarishta looks forward to engaging with these corporate clients as it will enable her to roll-out her methods and best practices to a wide audience of clients in a fun, engaging, and actionable format.
