Top Hairstyles of Year Selected by Voters at Super-Hair.net

Voters at Super-Hair.net have selected the winners of Crown Awards, honoring the top hairstyles of the year.

Wichita, KS, March 13, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Fans Choose Top Hairstyles: Brie Wins Three

"Community" star now has five Super-Hair Crown Awards in two years.

Actress Alison Brie is keeping very busy, from the TV comedies Community and Teachers to the Will Ferrell-Kevin Hart movie Get Hard. Yet she keeps her hair in great shape through it all. And voters honored Brie for that, voting her the winner of three Crown Awards Thursday at the celebrity hair website Super-Hair.Net.

Brie had a perfect night during the announcement of winners during a live online chat. She was named Best Hairstyle on Television for the second year in a row, won Best Brunette outright after tying last year with Zooey Deschanel, and added Best Hairstyle in a Movie.

"Brie pulled a TV-Movie Crown double, which has never happened before," said the overseer of Super-Hair.Net. "She's now won five awards in two years, proving her hair is among our most popular choices for voters."

Two ESPN reporters followed Brie, by winning two Crowns each. Samantha Ponder won the top-level prize of Best Long Hair, as well as Best Blonde. Jaymee Sire was named Best Curls and Best Hairstyle in Sports Reporting.

For the second year in a row, the Crown Award for Best Short Hair ended in a tie. That prize is shared by Shreveport, Louisiana journalist Erin Buchanan and NBC News meteorologist Dylan Dreyer.

Voters showed their delight for hair from around the world. Crown Awards were won by American Samoa native Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, English singer/designer Nicola Roberts, Hong Kong-born business anchor Betty Liu, former India beauty queen and Quantico star Priyanka Chopra and Scottish actress Karen Gillan.

The full list of winners with pictures of their styles are posted in the Crown Awards area of Super-Hair.Net. Visitors also can review winners from 15 prior years.

Super-Hair.Net has honored the top celebrity hairstyles of today and modern times since 2000, with a mix of information and interactive competitions. Over the years, the site has received more than 1.5 million visitors.
