Beijing, China, January 03, 2008 --(PR.com)-- Lehman, Lee & Xu is pleased to announce that Professor Ding Xiangshun has joined the Beijing legal team.

Professor Ding Xiangshun is an associate professor at the Renmin University School of Law, as well as the Deputy Director of the Center for U.S Law at Renmin University and coordinator for the China Advocacy Institute, which is jointly run by Renmin University and Indiana University and sponsored by the U.S State Department.

Professor Ding received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in law at the Jilin University School of Law. After receiving his Ph. D. from Renmin University in 2000, he joined the faculty of Renmin University School of Law. In addition to teaching at Renmin University, he has taught at Jilin University, Meiji University and Waseda University. In 2006, he studied at the Indiana University School of Law and received an L. L. M. in American Law.

Professor Ding’s main focus is on Comparative Law, Foreign Legal History, and Japanese Law. He teaches graduate courses in Foreign Judicial Systems, and Foreign Legal History and Comparative Legal Professions for L. L. B. students at Renmin University. At Lehman, Lee & Xu, he will be the head of the firm’s Japanese practice.
