Emerio Announces New Advisory Board Member – Mr. Hawazi Daipi

Singapore, Singapore, March 30, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Emerio, a leading IT Solutions and Services provider in South East Asia, recently appointed Mr. Hawazi Daipi as a new advisory board member.

Mr. Daipi has extensive experience in Public Administration in Singapore and was the former Senior Parliamentary Secretary (SPS) with the Ministry of Manpower, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health.

Mr. Daipi started his career as a teacher and worked for five years from 1978 to 1983 before joining Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) as a journalist in 1983. After resigning from SPH, Mr Hawazi joined the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC), where he served for five years as Director of the International Affairs Department and Executive Secretary. He served as a Member of the Parliament in Singapore from 1997 to 2015 with the Ministry of Manpower, Ministry of Education and Ministry of Health.

He was the Chairman of the Malay Language Council Singapore (MLCS) from 2008 to 2012 and currently also sits in MLCS Board of Advisors. At the Ministry of Manpower, he oversaw, among others, the Ministry’s work in workplace safety and health. He also chaired the tripartite committee on low-wage workers and one that promoted work-life harmony among companies. At the Ministry of Education, he chaired COMPASS (COMmunity and PArents in Support of Schools) and HY-Com (Healthy Youth Committee) and oversaw the network of agencies on youth health.
