Chabad of Southside to Host 11th Annual Community Passover Seder "Relive the Passover Exodus" with Rabbi Novack

Jacksonville, FL, March 31, 2016 --(PR.com)-- Community members are invited to participate in Chabad of Southside's 11th Annual community Seders to be held on Friday Night April 22nd, and again on Saturday Night April 23rd. Both Seders will feature rich discussion about Passover from the English/Hebrew Haggadah enabling participants to truly enjoy the authentic Seder. Master chef Kobe Fedida is catering the event featuring Uruguayan beef, a selection of fine wines and imported hand-made Shmurah Matzah. Rabbi Shmuli Novack, Director of Chabad of Southside, will facilitate the inter-generational program.
The community Passover Seder will be held on April 22 & 23 at Chabad of Southside 11271 Alumni Way, Jacksonville, FL 32246.
The Seders cost $54 per adult and $18 per child/student and must be reserved in advance, by contacting Chabad at 904-646-4434 or visiting them online.
The eight-day festival of Passover is celebrated this year from sundown on Friday April 22nd until after nightfall on April 30. Passover commemorates the exodus of the Jews from Egypt and will be celebrated with festive “Seder” dinners on April 22nd and 23rd. Other holiday observances include restricting the consumption of leavened products such as bread and pasta, instead eating unleavened matzah.
