Rear Admiral Paul Thomas, Assistant Commandant for Prevention Policy, USCG will be speaking on Day one of the conference about 'Preparing a Cyber Security Policy in the USA to Protect American Ports'. His session will focus on: Recent examples of cyber-attacks within ports and the impact of these on the port; challenges faced by the US Coastguard in developing a policy; solutions devised to defeat these challenges as well as further improving cyber security within ports.

Randy Parsons, Director of Security from the Port of Long Beach will be delivering a key note presentation on 'How the 'Virtual Port' Enhances Domain Awareness, Incident Response & Recovery.' Mr Parsons will also be taking part in the Panel Discussion on Day-Two of the conference which will focus on 'What Measures Can be Taken by Ports to Improve Security Operations'. He will be joined by representatives from Port of Dover, Port of Rotterdam and Malta Transport Authority.
